We provide the following services to our customers:
- Building Surveys / As-Builts
- 3D Laser Surveys – Point Clouds
- Floor Slab Level Variation Surveys
- Area Calculation Studies: REBNY, BOMA
- 2D & 3D CAD Drafting: AutoCAD, Revit
We use Z&F and Faro scanners, which are considered the most accurate and efficient scanners currently on the market.
For creating the point clouds and drawings, we utilize a variety of software depending upon client need, including AutoCAD, and Revit. We also use Total Station for big project where established control points are needed.
In short, we use the highest quality equipment to provide our clients with the highest quality product.
What is 3D Laser Scanning?
3D laser scanning uses LIDAR technology to capture 3-dimensional data with a high level of accuracy and efficiency. Each individual laser captures millions of data points per second. Our scanners produce a crystal-clear digital portrait of existing conditions without physically touching the area.
By using this cutting-edge laser technology, 3D laser scanning creates millions of measurement points, taken together, the points comprise what is known as point clouds, consisting of 3D coordinates that enable tremendously precise measurement.
Why use 3D Laser Scanning?
3D Laser Scanning gives an unprecedented level of precision and accuracy. At Archidata, we use Leica and Faro scanners, which are considered the most accurate scanners on the market.
3D Scanning is the best technology to lay the groundwork for BIM Modeling due to its accuracy and assists in all stages of building and design projects.
3D Laser Scanning can also be used for surveys, construction projects, architectural documentation and more.
